The Alpha Seamaster is the best Omega Seamaster homage. It creates a visually identical timepiece apart from the Alpha logo. The dial is ceramic and includes the wave/ripple effect seen on the Omega Seamaster Professional.
This new Seamaster 300 is, in many ways a real homage, forgoing some of the modern flourishes of its predecessor in the interest of being more faithful to the original model from 1957. But it isn't a 1:1 reproduction. Certainly not a real homage to the 300.but I was somewhat inspired by the look. I ordered the hands individually to get the right sizes (DG2813 in here) and the dial from ebay. At the time there were no broad arrow hands I could find that would work, but I know there are now especially for Seiko. This Omega Seamaster 300 Spectre comes with the in-house developed and produced caliber 8400 movement, a ceramic bezel with LiquidMetal hour-scale and a new bracelet as well as a Bond NATO-strap. Furthermore, the watch has a wonderful and timeless design based on that very first Seamaster 300 CK2913 in 1957.
